Expandable LeMaitre® Valvulotome
Through its self-sizing, self-centering design, the Expandable LeMaitre®
Valvulotome is the breakthrough in valvulotomy. It brings speed and
simplicity to in situ bypass grafting procedures. When used with a
semi-closed technique, this well-engineered instrument offers you faster, safer,
and more effective valvulotomy with decreased wound necrosis and faster patient
recovery.
One Size For All Procedures
Provides a blade range of 2.0-5.0 mm Diameter to Fit most veins, eliminating the
need for multiple sizes of instruments and enabling effective valve cutting in
more veins.
Self-Sizing and Self Centering
Automatically adjusts to vein diameter.
Resilient Centering Hoops
Stays centered in the vein for optimal valve cutting.
Two Lengths: 60 cm and 110 cm
The Expandable LeMaitre Valvulotome is available in a new 60 cm length for
greater control during shorter bypasses.
Atraumatic Insertion
With its unique Teflon sheath, the blades remain enclosed during insertion
for
smooth advancement to the proximal anastomosis.
Sharp Cutting Blades
Retract the sheath to deploy the four recessed cutting blades to cut
valve
cusps in a few smooth passes.
Irrigation Port
Enables saline injections to ease device passage. Also allows for
real-time
pressure monitoring.
