Payton Scientific was incorporated in 1968 and originally designed and built specific light sources (ALS) and detectors for research and clinical applications, to determine how blood platelets reacted to chemical stimuli.

Our product line, ranges from the simplest detector of platelet function to sophisticated instruments which are automated and semi-automated.  The instruments are electro-optical using spectrophotometric and nephelometric techniques and detect how well blood platelets function in vitro.
