Holographic Imaging (MHI), Photochemistry, Remote sensing, Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (ESPI), Laser Induced Photo-Acoustic Studies, Non-Linear
Optics, LIDAR and Ablation.
Technical Datasheet GQA/B-xJ (shown here)
The GQA/B-xJ Series of High Repetition Pulsed Neodymium YAG Lasers. The GQA/B-xJ series comprises a family of 4 lasers each
of which is based on a Nd:YAG oscillator and one or more
Nd:YAG amplifiers. The lasers produce near-diffraction
limited single-longitudinal mode radiation in the
nanosecond regime from 1.2 to 3 Joules per pulse
(fundamental harmonic). A maximum repetition rate of
25Hz is available. Design features include a highly stable
electro-optically Q-switched ring-cavity oscillator, 4-pass
SBS phase conjugated amplifiers using beam apodization
and optional frequency conversion to the second or third
harmonics. The GQA range of lasers are designed for
applications such as holography which require a
quasi-gaussian beam distribution. The higher energy
GQB lasers have top-hat distributions.
