GBI – 3S AMBULATORY ECG SOLID STATE HOLTER RECORDER Description: The recording is not really a form of continuous monitoring in the sense that the signal is not available immediately. The recording is a representation of past events which permits a detailed analysis of them. In a routine electrocardiogram, transitory changes may easily be missed due to the short time span over which the recording is made. These intermittent episodes are more reliably detected when the electrocardiograph is recorded continuously over a 24 hour period allowing a correlation to be made between patient activities and symptoms, and transitory abnormalities of cardiac function which are frequently associated with the stress of daily life. The GBI-3S Digital ECG Holter recorder is a lightweight, memory card recorder designed for reliability in ambulatory ECG applications. The following are the most remarkable characteristics of the Holter recorder: -New ergonomic and ultralight design-24 hour-3 channel ECG patient data -No recording head, no motor nor moving parts, eliminating the servicing of mechanical parts and the problem related to speed variation. -Faster data transfer, as it stores the ECG information into a non volatile PCMCIA memory card. -Minimum maintenance cost; the memory card is reusable -Bi-directional communication between the recorder and the memory card, through a digital display. -Interactive LCD display where the following items are indicated: ECG output channel, recording mode, low battery warning, etc. -Electric continuity test, of each one of the seven lead wires. -Power supply failure display warning. -Display message of memory card status. -Security system which prevents recording over a non-processed memory card. -Output test of each one of the three recording channels. -Super flexible tinsel seven lead wires patient cable with a very durable metallic micro circular connector. -10-minute maximum Very High Resolution ECG data acquisition (1,000 samples per second) for further Ventricular Late Potential Analysis
