The 4339 Bariatric Transport Bed is designed to be a patient bed as well as a transportation device. The unique fixed base construction with casters provides easy movement of the patient. Model 4339 with an overall width of 41.5" allows passage through hospital doors. The height feature allows the bed to be raised or lowered from approximately 14" minimum for easy patient entrance and exit to a convenient 30" maximum height. The mattress pan is 39" wide by 80" long. Side rails, which swing away, can be locked at a 45 degree angle, effectively increasing the width of the bed at the top of the side rails to 60".
