Effective Teamwork for Continence Training

The incidence of incontinence within the adult population continues to grow. While incontinence is usually associated with an older population, it also afflicts many younger individuals. The US. Department of Health & Human Services Clinical Practice Guidelines recommend non-invasive behavior modification techniques, such as surface electromyography (sEMG) as first-line therapy for incontinence.

Sophisticated yet easy-to-use, our advanced sEMG feedback systems enable clinicians and patients to work together for effective management of incontinence.

$2800 Complete.

  • A sophisticated, yet simple to use, battery-operated unit, U-Control enables patients to self-train with prescribed exercises to re-educate pelvic muscles for better urinary or fecal control.
  • Two LEDs cue patients to tense or relax and view their progress on an ascending or descending bargraph scale of 15 LEDs and listen for rising or falling variations in a continuous tone.
