Effective Teamwork for Continence Training
The incidence of incontinence within the adult population continues to grow.
While incontinence is usually associated with an older population, it also
afflicts many younger individuals. The US. Department of Health & Human
Services Clinical Practice Guidelines recommend non-invasive behavior
modification techniques, such as surface electromyography (sEMG) as first-line
therapy for incontinence.
Sophisticated yet easy-to-use, our advanced sEMG feedback systems enable
clinicians and patients to work together for effective management of
incontinence.

$2800 Complete.
- A portable, stand-alone unit with LCD screen for full graphic readout and
a 32-LED bargraph, MyoTrac 3G stores up to 8 patient evaluation sessions.
- MyoTrac 3G can be connected to any Windows compatible PC for easy on-line
monitoring or downloading for more sophisticated data analysis or display
options.
- Statistical, session data can be easily printed for comprehensive
documentation or patient outcomes.
- MyoTrac 3G provides clinicians with two protocols: pelvic assessment and
work/rest training.
- MyoTrac 3G provides extensive statistics to comprehensively evaluate
muscle function including, average EMG levels (baseline and/or
contractions), standard deviation, average onset of peaks (muscle
recruitment) and average release (muscle recovery), work and amplitude
decline (muscle fatigue).

- Only $350!
- A sophisticated, yet simple to use, battery-operated unit, U-Control
enables patients to self-train with prescribed exercises to re-educate
pelvic muscles for better urinary or fecal control.
- Two LEDs cue patients to tense or relax and view their progress on an
ascending or descending bargraph scale of 15 LEDs and listen for rising
or falling variations in a continuous tone.
- U-Control has an adjustable threshold setting to enable health
professionals and patients to revise and report on their training
programs as they progress.
- Patients use a comfortable, reusable vaginal or rectal sensor in
combination with simple biofeedback exercises to improve bladder and
bowel function by:
- holding a steady LED readout or tone
- intensifying muscle contractions above the threshold level
- repeating a preset number of exercises
- striving for specific LED readings or tones
