Ad-Tech Medical Instrument

In 1985, Ad-Tech began offering advanced designs in electrode technology for monitoring brain disorders such as epilepsy. These designs in subdural or cortical electrodes, depth electrodes, other electrodes and connectors are one reason Ad-Tech is established as the number one choice worldwide. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow our commitment to quality and service continues. Contact us today.

Ad-Tech's Subdural Electrodes feature exceptional quality and design to provide you with the latest advances in seizure recording technology. Neurosurgeons worldwide consider these electrodes to be the thinnest and most flexible available. Our electrodes come in many useful standard configurations ranging in size from 4-contact strips to 64-contact grids. Their bodies are transparent so that you can see the underlying features of the cortical surface. Contacts are available in either platinum or stainless steel to accommodate your imaging needs. The standard contact spacing is 10 mm, center-contact to center-contact. Barium markers on the first, second and last contact as well as numbers on the top row of every grid help you confirm their placement intraoperatively. Importantly, all of Ad-Tech's Subdural Electrodes use the patented TECH-ATTACH Connection System. Ad-Tech pioneered the use of small diameter electrode wire carriers or "tails" that allow you to use only a nominal 13 gauge (2.4 mm) passing needle to tunnel away from the electrode site. This tail then connects to your EEG/EP equipment quickly and securely. All of these electrode wire carriers are color-coded for easy identification.
